Centerpieces-- Help me decide!

Yes, 52 days until my wedding {AHH! cue panic attack}, and I haven't decided what half of my reception centerpieces will be.  Oh, and they're DIY.

I know.  I'm ridiculous.

Ok, here are the choices!
Option #1
Pretend that I didn't run out of ribbon on the one and the ribbon is straight and pretty.

Option #2

Option #3
There is one votive candle inside each hurricane.

Don't worry, you can talk over these hurricanes.  My maid of honor, Natalie, and I have practiced.

Prepare yourself, I'm about to go into crazy detail about what our reception space
will look like to fully inform you for your decision.

This is our reception space.

We'll be using round tables with white table linens.  We'll also have white chair covers
and pink chair sashes.  Here's a not-so-great photo of one of the chairs
{obviously with the cover and sash just taken out of the bag}.

Above the dance floor, which is in the middle of the room, we'll be hanging 30 pink, green, and white paper lanterns in varying sizes that we'll light up with battery-operated lights
{like pictured above}.

The other half of the centerpieces will be floral arrangements that look like this,
sans the petals and add votive candles.

Ok, so which one should I go with?

Bonus point: Can you guess which one would be the most budget-friendly to go with?

  1. i think you should go with the hurricane with the flower print on it. it'll tie in with your colors well and will look cute mixed in with the flower decor. either way though, you can't go wrong cuz they're all pretty cute :)

  2. I like option 1 or 2. I think I like 2 the best, but it all depends on how much candle light you want. I think the flower print is a little much and I don't think it goes well with the other centerpieces.

  3. I like the limes! (#2) The shape matches the lanterns. Very modern.

  4. I like #1... I think the limes are too different from the flowers... they look too dense compared to the more fragile look of the flowers. The flower paper is too different from the real flowers... I would go with something that's really simple, and I'm guessing also the cheapest :)

    They are all really beautiful!!

  5. I vote for the limes, they'll add a fun pop of color and whimsy to your table top, and tie in the color of the paper lanterns. Plus, in a room that size, it wouldn't hurt to have something a little more substantial on the table tops.

  6. I like #1 because it seems to match the decor of the rest of the wedding reception The flowers in #3 are too 2-dimensional and the shade of the limes are too harsh compared to the rest of the reception. Hope #1 wasn't too expensive because it's the best option!!

  7. I agree with soon to be Mrs h. The limes are too dark even with the lanterns because they are lighter when lit. Though #3 is beautiful, It is kinda flat and the flowers are too different from the actual flower ones you are using.

  8. I really like the limes! It is different and unexpected.

I am going to guess that option 3 is the cheapest - You probably have all the items on hand already. Just a guess though.

  9. I like #1 or #2, but I agree with others that the limes might not really "go" with the rest of the decor (but I bet they're the cheapest!) I think the flowers on #3 are too busy.

  10. I think 3. Even though the flowers are different, I don't think they will be much noticed. The limes just don't go, even though they are probably most budget friendly.

  14. I think that you should have the limes somewhere in the room--whether it is on the tables as centerpieces or on the guestbook table, etc... I think that it is such a great idea, that it needs to be incorporated. Also, why only go with 2 different types? Why not 3 or 4 variations? :)

Whatever you decide, I'm looking forward to photographing it!
